WENDY O. WILLIAMS of The Plasmatics is (finally) a real doll! That's right, 12 years after her death at age 48, legendary shock-rock queen and pioneering punk goddess, Wendy Orlean Williams has just been immortalized as a bobblehead, er... Throbblehead, by the fine folks at Aggronautix. The company has been in the business of committing some of punk rock's best to Throbbleheads for several years now. Their roster reads like a battered, bloody, blue-haired who's-who of hardcore... Previous installments have included GG Allin, Tesco Vee of The Meatmen, D.O.A.'s Joey Shithead, and The Dwarves. For Wendy's doll, they've decked her out in the 1982 outfit (right down to the spiked elbow pads) and blonde mohawk that she sported when The Plasmatics' major-label Coup d'Etat album was released (by far the best produced and most rock-solid metal crossover record of their career), and in their video for (Prisoners of) The Damned. As Williams sang on her 1984 "WOW" album, Legends Never Die... Being that she stated time & time again that one of her favorite activities was "headbanging", this toy could not be more appropriate! Limited Edition of 2000. Get yours before they're gone at: www.Aggronautix.com
